Every vehicle is detected and its plate read on the device itself. Each read and its snapshot is forwarded here over a private link and shown under role-scoped access.

An admin session reads the full plate. A viewer session is served by a separate database role that can only read the redacted view — plates arrive as AB****YZ and cannot be searched. That boundary is enforced by Postgres grants, not by this page.
